How do I choose a therapist?

We have two highly qualified therapists working in our office. Each of our therapists has a unique background and areas of focus. Depending on your reasons you are seeking support, we will be happy to help you figure which therapist is the best fit for you. In the event that we can cannot serve you in an optimal way, we will help connect you with a resource in our region who can better support your therapeutic goals.

What should I expect during my first session with my therapist?

Your first session with your therapist is a time for the therapist to get to know you and for you to ask questions of the therapist. Your therapist will review your demographics and self-assessment forms, ask what has brought you to therapy and what your goals for therapy are.

A session lasts 50 minutes unless you have scheduled a longer period of time with your therapist. Examples of a possible longer sessions-couples/families, wilderness, groups or personal preference.

If you would like more information about this option please contact us.
